Two youths were killed and two others injured as two motorbikes head-on collided at Charavita area in Bagherpara upazila of Jashore on Tuesday evening.

The deceased were identified as Md Al Amin, 27, son of Anwar Hossain, a resident of Rajapur village in Lohagora upazila of Narail and Yasin Rahman, 25, son of Mizanur Rahman of Teghori village in Bagherpara upazila under Jashore district.

Confirming the news, Firoz Uddin, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bagherpara police station, said the accident took place on Jashore-Narail road when two motorbikes collided head on, leaving Al Amin dead on the spot and Yasin injured.

The injured succumbed to his injuries on the way to Khulna General Hospital, he said.

Injured Kabil Sheikh, 26, and Sabbir Hossain, 17, were admitted to Jashore 250-bed General Hospital, he added.
